The Mother Armenia statue in Gyumri is a smaller version of the one in Yerevan’s Victory Park. It is the tallest sculpture in the city. The stone blocks en route to the dual staircase that leads up to the monument are each inscribed with the names of the Soviet Hero Cities of the Great Patriotic War (World War II).
