For a slice of classic China look no further than the ancient walled town of Pingyao, possibly the best-preserved in the country. We know the secret is out but with its multitude of alleyways, impressive watchtowers, and imposing city walls, the UNESCO World Heritage listed old town of Pingyao is still a brilliant place for independent wandering and a good bit of people-watching. For a view of the cobbled streets and grey-slate rooftops, there’s no better spot that the City Tower – muscle in among the selfie-sticks, look down and snap away. For people-watching, just stand anywhere, this is, after all, China!
Love these two photos! Great work.
Thank you 🙂 Pingyao is one of our favourite places in China.
Very interesting point of view in both the images.
Thank you. Yes, we enjoy looking at things from different perspectives!
