India Travel Blog
Travel guides, itineraries, abandoned places, street art and off-the-beaten-path places in IndiaHello and welcome to our India travel blog. You will find all our India blog posts in this section of our website.
Maybe you found our India travel blog because you are considering a visit to the subcontinent, or perhaps you are partway through planning a trip to India. Whatever the reason, we hope we can provide some useful resources and travel tips for India
Ask either of us about our favourite country, place or experience and India will be on the list. It’s a destination that we both know well, having notched up over fifty visits between us.
Despite this, India is the country we’ve written about in less detail in proportion to the amount of time we’ve spent there. We liken India to a drug addiction (not that either of us has experience of that!) – when we’re there, it can drive us crazy but as soon as we leave, we have a craving to go back for more! We are long overdue a fix!
India is one of the most diverse countries on the planet and we’ve seen a lot of it – from Kashmir in the Himalayan mountains to Kanyakumari, India’s most southerly point.
Our India blog posts are generally aimed at independent travellers and backpackers like us and have a strong focus on travelling around using public transport, staying in budget accommodation and exploring off-the-beaten-path and lesser-visited places.
