Miners’ Tower Block

The high-rise was constructed to accommodate miners and their families. The stairs and lift are in the middle of the structure and the housing units are symmetrically arranged around them. The roof of the building is dominated by a large hammer and pick, the traditional symbol of mining. More information about the Miners’ Tower Block.
